Comicon challenge 2015

I decided to join the Comicon challenge on gameartisans
This year is about fusing two superheroes together, although I went away from the typical superheros en tights and chose two female characters from european comics. Ehra and Navis (Keepers of the maser and Sillage)

While I´m trying to install Yeti and learn how to do hair (I know, super easy) I´m honing my modeling skills and learning anatomy. So far it´s been like 5 short sessions after work, but it´s going well!

Im sculpting in my spare time a female bust. Studying the forms, practising zbrush and learning how to render with Arnold in maya. So far I love its skin shader and the ipr. Instant feedback!

After more than two months fighting with the software and with the female form I think Im closer to a decent image. Ive tried several ways of doing hair but they all ended in dissaster. So until Im able to install Yeti Im working on other areas

Mudbox texturing

Testing mudbox for texturing, it seems pretty decent! I did the sculpt in zbrush, retopo in 3d coat, and render in vray in 3ds max.
